TERRITORIAL PLANNING
Data collection and processing
We specialize in providing comprehensive solutions for land management, understanding the importance of its knowledge, and the regulation of natural resources for the definition and organization of policies, programs, and actions for sustainable development.
In this regard, we have developed a wide range of products and services designed to address the specific challenges of land management. These include innovative technological tools and specialized consulting services.
Territorial Planning Services Portfolio
At Innoveste we provide the following Territorial Planning services:
Basic Risk Management Studies
We focus on the construction of basic risk management studies in compliance with the provisions of Decree 1807 of 2015. This translates into the generation of key products such as the zoning of hazards for phenomena such as floods, landslides, and torrential flows, as well as the creation of guidelines for their incorporation in the processes of review and/or adjustment of land use planning plans.
Inputs for Hydrological Buffer Zones
We possess the experience and knowledge required for constructing the necessary inputs for the demarcation of hydrological buffer zones within the framework of Resolution 957 of 2018, "Which adopts the Technical Guide for Criteria for the Demarcation of Hydrological Buffer Zones in Colombia and issues other provisions," issued by the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. These are to be submitted to the competent environmental authority for the issuance of the corresponding administrative act.
Municipal System of Protected Areas
Our company is dedicated to supporting municipalities across the country in a fundamental process for environmental conservation: the declaration of the Municipal Systems of Protected Areas (SIMAP). This initiative represents a comprehensive and complementary strategy that strengthens environmental management and governance within the territory. These protected areas not only contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and natural resources but also promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life of local communities.
Municipal Dossier
We specialize in the preparation of municipal dossiers as the first stage in the process of reviewing and/or adjusting Territorial Ordering Plans (POT, PBOT, EOT), facilitating the knowledge of territorial entities about the state of progress in the implementation of their instruments, as well as the needs for adjustment, modification, and/or complement to them. This is done with the aim of properly planning the development of their review and adjustment process, along with the subsequent allocation of operational and economic resources; a foundational process in Law 388 of 1997 and the sole regulatory decree of the housing sector 1077 of 2015.
Land Cover
At Innoveste, we have a team of highly trained professionals in image interpretation for the generation of land cover maps, following the CORINE Land Cover methodology. To this end, we carry out various activities such as the review and adjustment of aerial images, image interpretation, fieldwork, geodatabase structuring, quality control, and technical report generation.
In this way, we guarantee the reliability and precision of our land cover maps, providing our clients with high-quality information for informed decision-making.
Current Land Use
For generating maps of current land use, we have a trained team capable of carrying out these tasks, leveraging all available technological tools and complying with the standards set by the National Authority of Environmental Licenses (ANLA). This involves reclassification, generalization, and a new interpretation of the CORINE Land Cover land cover map, supported by fieldwork and all available secondary information to back up the interpretation and improve the thematic precision of the final product.
Environmental Licensing
Our product includes the essential authorization from the environmental authority for the execution of projects, works, or activities. It complies with current legislation, such as Decree 1076 of 2015, ensuring the proper management of significant environmental impacts.
